Follow these steps:
1. Neighbor comes to pick up his girls from a playdate.
2. Neighbor asks me where the man of the house is.
3. Looks sad when he's not here.
4. Man of the house arrives with groceries in hand.
5. Neighbor is happy to see him.
6. Neighbor asks him "hey - how's your Star Wars game?"
7. Put Wii DVD in game slot.
8. Grab your light saber that glows and makes cool sounds.
9. Turn on the button.
We are Jedis.
We will fight the empire.
Ring, ring...
Neighbor's wife calls and says "Obi wan kenobi needs to come home.
Dinner's ready."

Seriously.. that is hilarious. My obi wan... just wanted to come over and play! So funny :)

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! Totally the kind of mandate my husband would love. He has two "master replica" light sabers that make noise and light up. He loves to pull them out when boys come over. Real men use light sabers. Maybe I'll put that on a t-shirt! :)

That reminds me of a time when some missionary friends came over to spend a few days with us... the guys started playing with my son's nerf guns complete with target vests and protective eye wear. It was chaos as they shot at each other all around the house, tipping chairs over for barricades all night long. My kids were in bed and the wife and I just sat on the couch and watched. Too funny.
